The Executive Director plans, organizes, and directs the daily business operations and hospitality services of the community. This position has accountability for budgeting and financial management, as well as all community business and hospitality services, including customer relations, concierge, dining, health and wellbeing, and environmental services. Together they ensure seamless integration of gracious living, hospitality and a commitment to unsurpassed holistic care and wellbeing.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Qualified administrator of record with the department of a Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) on April 1, 2009, will be exempt from the qualifications listed below as outlined in DHS 83.15(1)
  • 21 years of age or older
  • As listed in DHS 83.15 - The administrator shall have one of the following qualifications:
  1. An associate degree or higher from an accredited college in a health care related field.
  2. A bachelor's degree in a field other than health care from an accredited college and one (1) year experience working in a health care related field having direct contact with one (1) or more of the client groups identified under s. DHS 83.02(16). Client groups include individuals:
    1. With functional impairments that commonly accompany advanced age.
    2. With irreversible dementia, such as Alzheimer's disease.
    3. Who have developmental disability as given in a S. 51.01(5), Stats.
    4. Who are emotionally disturbed or who have a mental illness as given in S. 51.01(13)(a), Stats.
    5. Who are alcoholic as given in s. 51.01(8), Stats.
    6. With physical disabilities.
    7. Who are pregnant and in need of counseling services.
    8. Under the legal custody of government correctional agency or under the legal jurisdiction of a criminal court.
    9. Diagnosed as terminally ill.
    10. With traumatic brain injury.
    11. With acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
  3. A bachelor's degree in a field other than in health care from an accredited college and have successfully completed an assisted living administrator's training course approved by the department or the department's designee.
  4. At least two (2) years' experience working in a health care related filed having direct contact with one (1) or more of the clients group under s. DHS 83.02(16) and have successfully completed an assisted living administrator's training course approved by the department or the department's designee.
  5. A valid nursing home administrators license issued by the department of safety and professional services.
  6. Persons who are the qualified administrator of record with the department with a CBRF on April 1, 2009, shall be exempt from the qualifications requirements specified under sub (i-v).
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in customer-oriented leadership
  • Previous experience in senior services preferred
